16 MM and 35 MM Postproduction

Each phase of 16 mm or 35 mm postproduction involves continuous dialogue with the film director and the photography director.

It is the second phase in the making of a film, its completion :

  • Negative editing or virtual editing
  • Developing optical transfer
  • First copy standardization known as copy
    « 0 » (Answer Print)
  • Interpositive : security item after the original negative.
  • Internegative : item made after the interpositive and which makes it possible to print positive copies for screening.


For 16 mm, the laboratory processes 16 mm and S 16 mm formats, from developing negatives to 35 mm cinema screening.

Documentaries, clips, TV fiction (units or series) benefit from processing by the video/digital line through to PAD delivery : rush TC, control, conformation, special effects, sub-titling, tape to tape standardization, PAD.
